By Arthus-Bertrand, Paris, after 1955. Central blue enameled disc with seven golden stars, depicting the star cluster Pleiades within a white enamel ring with 24 stars; all surrounded by six open double loop ornaments, with six partly white enameled shell-shaped designs; on top, brown and blue enameled Pahlavi Crown. The Breast star with hallmarked pin, the Sash Pendant with hallmarked suspension loop. A rare and impressive set of this sought after type. Partially worn gilding, minor enamel damage on the Pahlavi Crowns and small scratches on the reverses, otherwise, extremely fine.
